Eine-Welt-Initiative Tuningen

After the Mondcivitaner Boutique ceased trading, Sandy Engelking continued her interest in the area by running a project from home selling products from 'Third World' support projects and also raising money to be sent to particular projects.

In the period from the middle of 1984, when the project started, until the end of 1990, a total of DM 37,240 (approx US$22,400) was given to self-help projects through the purchase and sale of products across the world and direct cash contributions of DM 1,660 was made to the Children's home in Kenya supported by the World Service Trust and DM 10,303 to a project in Brazil (Childrens' home run by the Methodist Church).

This project still continues to flourish and contribute to awareness of fair trade.
