THE MONDCIVITAN REPUBLIC - THE WAY FORWARD

The World Situation, socially and internationally, is deteriorating. Hostility is rampant in many connections. The effects are already serious in terms of suffering and loss of life. They would be infinitely graver through some intentional or accidental folly. The ghastly weapons of mass destruction can be unleashed at the touch of a button.

No considerations of comfort or self-interest must therefore weigh with us who as Mondcivitans are the Servants of Mankind. We are called upon as World Citizens spread around the globe to intensify our functions of Service, Mediation and Example. These we have to pursue at all levels, personal, local and international. This calls for commitment, for self-training, and for a pure love of humankind, so that we may be instruments for healing antagonisms and capable of finding acceptable solutions to conflicts.

We must always remember that the Mondcivitan Republic is to be the working-model of a peaceful united world, the pioneer of a global harmonious society, where the motivation will be one of service in place of domination. As a nation we have acted, and are able to act successfully, at a governmental level internationally. But now we have also to reach out to the peoples, for their encouragement and for the recruitment of new citizens.

This demands that our work has to be upheld and sustained at local levels, by the creation of CENTRES where Mondcivitans can actively participate in our affairs. Initially such Centres can be the homes of any of our citizens where local Mondcivitans can meet. They will have our literature, give out news to the Press, hold discussions, and register new citizens. We need to build up our Mondcivitan quality and identity.

We are now calling on as many of our citizens as possible to declare their willingness to establish such local Mondcivitan Centres.

We are also now asking every Mondcivitan to make sacrificially a regular contribution of whatever they can afford to be mailed to our present world office at 1033A FINCHLEY ROAD, LONDON NW11 7ES, U.K. This is to provide funds for printed and duplicated literature, postages,etc. I am giving my services without any remuneration.

Those Mondcivitan Centres which are best situated and have proved most effective will in due coarse be notified that they qualify for the status of MONDCIVITAN CONSULATES, and they will select a local citizen as Consul. Where a Consulate is created notification will be given to the Government of the Country concerned.
