Mrs Dorothy Freeborn Martin (1886-1974), born Dorothy Roberts in Buttington (Montgomeryshire), became involved with Christian pacifist movements after the First World War, an involvement that continued throughout her life. She was a founder member of the Commonwealth of World Citizens.
