The Mondcivitan Flag

The Mondcivitan flag represents the red and white corpuscles of the human blood which is the uniting factor of all peoples and races.

The "m" logo of the Mondcivitan Republic forms a bridge symbolising the function of the Servant Nation which should serve to build bridges of harmony and accord between the differences which divide individuals, religions and nation states.

The name "Mondcivitan" comes from the Esperanto words, "Mondo" which means World and "civito" which means Citizen. After its constitutional assembly, it was first referred to as the "Commonwealth of World Citizens". Unfortunately, this name caused some confusion with the world citizen movements who, although they had admirable aims, were different in nature to the Republic which had its roots in the pre-second world war movement to establish a holistic servant nation.

The aim of the Republic is not to establish a federal world government but to be a nation to serve mankind without claim of territory or power. It should act as the ombudsman of mankind. For many years, it has had to remain dormant. Now with the advent of Internet it has a real chance to become an active virtual nation.

Please join us in our quest for equality, justice and peace on Earth.

To become a citizen all one has to do is to agree to adhere to the Principles.
